Soy wax is a popular more expensive vegan friendly alternative to paraffin wax . Made from soybean, it is known for its longer and renewable cleaner burn compared to paraffin wax.

Unlike paraffin wax, natural 100% soy wax is sometimes known  to develop frosting/wet spots and uneven tops, which are unique characteristics of this natural wax and doesn’t effect the performance of the wax. This doesn’t happen with every candle , it’s all due to the temperatures the candles were cooled at , the wax may cool to quickly due to environmental variations. 

Despite these aesthetic quirks, soy wax remains a popular choice for eco-conscious consumers who prioritize sustainability and cruelty-free options.

Its clean-burning properties make it a preferred choice for those seeking a more environmentally-friendly candle option.

Fragrances with high levels of vanillin /citrus scents can sometimes cause the wax to develop a creamy/yellow tint. Fragrances with small amounts of vanillin or citrus can have gradual colour change over time. Dried flowers in candle wax can also cause dye bleeding. None of these natural processes affect the performance of the wax/scent.

Refill Refill Refill !! The Future of Candles .

Introducing our Refill Candles - a sustainable way to reuse your candle jar! This is the way forward !!! Our refill candles are made from 100% soy wax, vegan friendly and environmentally conscious. 

Say goodbye to waste and hello to a more sustainable lifestyle with our refill candles. Join us in making a positive impact on the planet while enjoying the relaxing ambiance of our high-quality soy wax candles.

So Here's how it works: Simply blow out your candle, tap the warm wax into some wrapping and carefully dispose of it. 

Gently scrape off the candle wick tab from the bottom of your candle jar,  and wash the jar in warm soapy water. Next, get your candle refill, gently remove the sticky tab from the bottom and pop it into your container, pushing down gently to ensure it sticks.

This easy process allows you to enjoy your favorite scents in an environmentally friendly way. 

Refilling your candle is not only good for the planet but also a great way to extend the life of your favourite jar and more cost effective .

Our refill candles are available for our 2 Luxe Candle Jars and our 20cl Clear Lotti jars. We are in the process of sourcing refills for our Black Matt Jars.
